Over the last 6 years, French Squared has provided consultancy and project management services to several Local Authorities, NHS Trusts and schools. These services have included:

London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

For two years we provided consultancy support and project management. Tasks included:

  • Development and implementation of the digital Children Services Local Offer
  • Interfacing multi-agency electronic case management systems
  • Development of Direct Payment policies, processes and electronic Resource Allocation Systems (RAS) Identifying and implementing SEND budget cuts
  • Development of the local SEND Strategy

Sutton and Merton NHS

We provided project management for the advance preparation for the Children and Families Bill SEND reforms. This included:

  • Development of a disabled children’s database
  • Development and rollout Workforce Development Programme
  • Development of a Single Health, Education and Social Care plan
  • Negotiation of memorandums of understanding between NHS and schools
  • Decommissioning and re-commissioning of Health Services such as the Orthotics Service
  • Management of website design

London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

  • Business process mapping of all multi-agency services supporting the public
  • Design the operational specification of a client management database to support the business processes
  • Managing the commissioning process for the database technical development
  • Managing the communications strategy and workforce training programme for system end users: 20,000 staff across NHS, Local Government, Police, Fire Brigade

Contact Point Rollout Project

  • Development of the Multi Agency Contact Point communications strategy
  • Local rollout of nationwide database for all children and young people.
  • Technical integration of database with local client management systems
  • Managing workforce training program for end users of the system across 10,000 staff

Multi-agency Children’s Workforce Development Project

  • Working with a number of professional agencies to develop a set of Key Skills for a multi-agency workforce of Social Services, Education, Health, Police and Fire Brigade: a work force of 30,000 i.e.

London Borough of Lewisham

French Squared provided the Interim Head of Youth Services and the Head of Integrated Youth Support And the Connexions Local Manager this Included:

  • Decommission The London Borough of Lewisham’s outsourced Employment, Education and Training Service (Connexions)
  • Managing communications with elected members, unions, press and staff.
  • Co-ordinate the TUPE negotiations between the London Borough of Lewisham and Babcock PLC for effected staff
  • Develop and implement the Council’s internal communications strategy and delivery for in-house delivery, including designing and implementing the workforce skills training program
  • Work individually with all Local Authority maintained secondary schools as stakeholders, to develop their individual education, employment and training plans, including the necessary workforce training programmes
